Word on the block is that a disaster was averted! We all know that The Game and Nas have a mutual respect for each other. But, we don’t know what lies beneath the surface. The word is there was a brief moment of tension between the two for some odd reason. Actually, I heard it was over something stupid (Not in Hip-Hop?). Anyway, like men, I heard this was squashed immediately. The word is The Game was at BET recently and Nas had a couple of his homeys to pay The Game and crew a visit. It wasn’t any beef at all, just a diplomatic thing, where they made it clear that there was NO BEEF. But, it seemed that this was a situation that could have spun out of control.

Speaking of Nas… At a recent concert at UCONN he again suggested that he’d have some “ether” for 50 Cent. I heard he was doing “Street’s Disciple” and he rocked the part that says "this aint Jigga, this ain’t 50," but he repeated the "this ain’t 50" part over and over. Then he stated that he’s moved on from Jay-Z, but had a new fish to fry. So you should be able to expect a reply right around the time that his new CD, NASDAQ, comes out.

So, is Jay-Z buying a magazine? Who knows, but I heard that Hov might have his eye on a certain magazine. On top of that, I heard that he has already opted to put writer/journalist/activist dream hampton (That’s how she writes it) as the editor-in-chief. I find that very interesting. You might know dream, because she is writing Jay-Z biography, "The Black Book." Now, I’ll put my 2 Cents and say, I don’t really believe this rumor, but…the person that said it has credentials that are impeccable. So, who knows?

Oh, yeah…I don’t think that Copywrite actually got lumped up too bad. I saw some video thing he made and he still looked like he had the mumps. But, he wasn’t really all that bad. When the underground attacks…The crazy thing is, he’s working with DJ Sickamore on a new mixtape called “The Jerk.” At least he knows!
