...The path of life is a highway, the smooth pavement made rough... ...The intersection comes, now comes a decision that's so tough... ...A decision I can't decide...I'm along for the ride, just a sheep... ...The ocean's so deep....................my body begins to feel weak... ...The highway has thrown me into the water, now I'm drowning... ...Nobody will pull me out of the water, the rush is so astounding... ...I was alone by myself on my path...life seperates me from trust... ...Everybody else is ahead of me...and I then am left in their dust... ...Why has this path, this highway called life put me in this mess..? ...Cause me so much stress, such death, this threat of distress... ...I wave my arms for somebody to pull me out, just let me breathe... ...But I was deceived...redeemed of my sadness, I am sinking deep... ...No friends, no family, nobody there to love me, and to save me... ...The path lead straight to hopelessness, that's what life gave me... ...I think about the intersection...the last thought at my attention... ...Something needin' correction, but God didn't bestow His blessin'... ...My lifeless body sinks deeper, the icy water fulfills has my hearse... ...I was cursed, since birth...the path I took was a turn for the worst... |
