There's a new champ on the charts and his name is Paul Wall. The Houston-bred rapper's, The People's Champ, comes in at #1 this week putting Swishahouse on top of the game. Wall's hit single, "Sittin' Sidewayz," has received heavy rotation on video and radio, pushing sales of 176,793 copies in his first week.

Directly following at #2 is Kanye West. Although West was bumped out of the top seat, his sales continue to take off. Sales of the controversial rapper/producer's newest offering continue to be buoyed by a media blitz which includes television appearances on Oprah, Ellen and Katrina benefit concerts along with constant video and radio rotation. Late Registration moved an additional 165,162 units this week, rounding off his numbers at 1,310,765.

Further down is Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley. Taking after his father, the legendary Bob Marley, Jr. Marley debuts his signature sound on his new album, Welcome To Jam Rock. The album debuts on the charts at #7 with his first single of the same name blazing radio the entire summer, resulting in 85,972 LPs sold in his first week.

One slot down at #8 is The Black Eyed Peas. Once again, the Peas have grabbed another spot in the top 10 this week with their latest release, Elephunk, which just scored two American Music Award nominations. The LP continues to "phunk" up the charts pushing 82,820 more records for a total of 1,458,624 units sold.

Slipping a lil' bit down to #11 is 50 Cent. Fiddy's re-released LP, The Massacre is still making noise as it moves units. The G-Unit general sold an additional 67,958 CDs this week and also scored AMA nods. The Massacre has moved 4,525,072 copies to date.

Holding down #13 is Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Young Jeezy is putting it down for the A. This week, Jeezy's project fell three spots but managed to sell 62,565 more albums. So far, Def Jam's Snowman moved 640,146 units in total.

Coming in the 23rd spot is another one from the G-Unit family-Tony Yayo. Yayo's debut Thoughts of A Predicate Felon dropped out of the top 10 radar this week. Although Yayo's album slipped his fans are still "curious" to see what's next from him. He sold an additional 39,157 LPs bringing his total to 324,233 units.

In closing, Bow Wow strikes solid gold, DJ Quik causes trauma and the Ying Yang Twins continue to cake. Grabbing the 28th spot is Bow Wow with his latest album Wanted living up to its name. With the matured pup gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film, "Roll Bounce," hitting theatres this weekend, Bow Wow sells 31,532 more copies this week. To date Wanted sold 521,616 units. In at #43 is DJ Quik. The West coast spin doctor dropped his latest album Trauma last week independently. Quik's album features artists such as Ludacris, B-Real, T.I., Wyclef Jean, The Game, Nate Dogg, Jodeci and more. In its first week, Quik's new mixtape album sold 23,824 copies. Lastly, at #46 the Ying Yang Twins keep the party going with U.S.A. (United States of Atlanta) selling an additional 22,977 copies for a total of 687,288 LPs.
