and bridges, im not sure what a bridge, is, i may have already recorded a song and have done a bridge but i dont know exactly what a bridge is

well listening would be the beat option coz there wouldn't be as much to learn through reading his shit...coz you got ya own writing style but listening and taking it in should help other stuff like flow and timing better because the more you listen the more you understand other stuff and also understand the flow needed on beats a lot better as well...which in turn will help writing more complex rhyming schemes...

word right now im on my smae old rhyme scheme but im doing my first solo track and have learned that the song will be boring unless i switch up the rhyme scheme

so every verse has a rhyme scheme change and ive already used the only 2 rhyme schemes i know of, i got one more but its a lil more harder considering its the third verse and i dont really know what else to talk about, LOL

I feel you dont need a specific rhyme schem,thats what make sa techical tracks more solid, your just spitting dope lines placing rhymes in all over the place without forcing yourself to switch your flow to dramatically, unless you liek being a schitzophrenic rapper then ya can switch ya fucking flow 20 times


Kids on this site are too hooked up on the text side of things, I see rhyme scheme valid for text,but not so valid for audio. aslong as your spitting solid ryding the beat to perfection. You cant go wrong.

Theres only a few set commonly used rhymeschemes. Most of which are covered in the tutorial I wrote... Good luck trying to listen to professional artists complex rhymeschemes, because they constantly change and are all very original.

A bridge is a variation of the normal pattern of a track.. its a bit like a hook.

for example youd have
verse 1
hook
verse 2
hook
verse 3
bridge
hook

Its hard to explain the content of a bridge... But the thing its most like is a hook or chorus.

And i'd be happy to battle you audio.. so if you're willing, let me know what rules you want.

hmm, i feel you some what contridicted yourself there. To me a rhyme scheme would stay the same thru the entire peice.
But a peice with out a signifigant rhyme scheme allows alot of switch ups a few pause's,samples used. diffent echo's and all sorts of shit, allthough, a solid exact perected rhyme scheme will create a stable solid flow, but if your not dropping some deep fucking originaly bars and just dropping played concepts,that shit will be reapeditive sounding and peopel wont take as much notice of you,compared to a track with a few solid flow switches, and alot of extra shit (not over done)

well i got a track im gona post up in 24 hours so listen to it becuase its dope, i just finishe dth elast verse, so yea tell me what you think to me its the best song ive recorded and i havent even recorded the last verse, lol
