The day the shots went off it was crazy
I never got hit but my vision was hazy
You layed on the cold ground in shock
I guess time ran out on your life’s clock
Details are too gruesome for me to speak
Your future looked bleak, my eyes sprung a leak
Because running down my face was a river of tears
As I kept having flashbacks from the past few years
Nothing tore us apart, we were inseperable forever
Being clever,trying to save your life,I really did endeavor
As I told your family, I couldn’t control my emotion
As I spoke of my devotion and all of the commotion
All of sudden I blamed myself and I was forever restless
Could not talk for awhile, It seemed as if I were breathless
I couldn’t hold it back, I just wanted to scream and yell
If I did what should’ve been done I would now be in a cell
You think you know what happened next, but it didn’t
I refused to do anything, I tore myself apart over that 1 minute
As you can tell this story was one that ended up being tragic
*POOF*,my best friend ever had disappeared like magic
Coping with this terrible loss was anything but a breeze
It was impossible to get through this difficult time with ease
