In need of

IP: 5285 DC82

[ recently I stopped making music, I decided to chill and let my current songs out there in my local take there course and give me soem publication.

But this has led me to need a more heavier fix of rap, im seriously not getting the same vibe as i did from rap in the past year or so.

Im unsure if its simply because I have heard what inspired me to my full potential and now Im my biggest inspiration, or if its cause rap is slowly fading in my life?

has anyone else had this feeling of not being fullfilled by the current music your listening to?]

ive got allk the new shit i can listen to in the way of other rappers.
I think its simply because ive stopped making music, Its in my blood to keep making music. I thought it would be a good idea to chill on making new music to get a boil up of inspiration then just explode. but nah....its too hard to put a halt on it all.

Maybe you're listenin to the wrong stuff? You say you have all the newest shit, but did you realize 'all the newest shit' is weak as fuck? I ran into the same problem a little while ago (right before I got my ipod) and didn't like anything of what was coming out, and it was making it hard for me to get inspiried and do new music cause all the new stuff is weaksauce. So I went diggin thru my old cds and collections, and found all my old classics. Not necesarily all 'hip hops top cds', but my personal favs from years back. The cds that first inspired me to make music, and jus listened. Take a evening out this week, dig thru your old stuff, find your old favs, and jus spend a few hours reminising on your old joints. Gaurentee you, by the end of that night, you'll be feelin inspired again. word.

that doesnt really always help.

people mght think they'r more 'hip hop' by listening to underground rappers, but most of the time, peoples just tryin to look good.

i listen to music that i like, some from underground, some from online, and some mainstream.

Its stupid when people say listen to underground music, whether people admit it or not, ne reason they'r still underground is cos they'r not that great.

^ word...i also listen to a big variety....

net heads.....a numerous amount of em...cause i respect a lot of em and feel their music....

underground heads....but a lot of underground artists..i dont like...cause i think they over do the "underground" thing....i enjoy lyricism..but damn...yes there is such thing as too much of it....and if u dont know what im talking about...then go back to listening to your songs about internal combustion exploding from the innercore of spontanious oraphuses umm ok i dunno what im talking about...yea...

and mainstream artists....there are a lot of mainstream cats i like....

so really...if i like their music..i listen...i dont just listen to any particular type of rap
