I had the most amazing dream last night...I stood before God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IP:
Normally, when I eat spicey food (i.e., General Tso's chicken) I have wild dreams. Well, there's no excuse this time. I dreamed that I and my cousin Monique stood before God on judgment day.
The one thing I remember most about this dream was that God is so patient. As He judged Monique, I remember feeling fear because I began to relive all the "bad" things I'd done. However, when it became my turn to be judged, it felt like more of a father giving his son a gentle scolding. In this dream, God even talked about homosexuality. He made it clear that he viewed gay acts no differently from any other sin. ...And, as We stood before God, it was as if there were two giant I-Max movie screens flanking us left and right. As God spoke, images appeared on the screens, presumably images from my life. It felt so real. I felt so assured standing before God. The one thing I remember most about being in God's presence in this dream was how much compassion He has. It's very warm. For those of you who have fathers, imagine God being a father and just disciplining his children. It was amazing. P.S. I also saw his image. I can't describe what I dreamed in words though. It's almost like staring in a mirror. God is a fire, a deep sea of warmth. That's what I remember most from this...is the warmth of God. 1 Last edited by Tha Q. : 05-06-06 at 05:49 AM. |
