Aight, ive been doin alot of thinking about how people view racism and why they have the views they do alot recently, and here's what i've come up with...

When some people think about our society or judicial system being "racist" and how our jails are filled with minorities, they think that we mean that police should actually see a black man robbing an old lady and let him go just because he's black and our jails are filled with blacks... but thats not the point at all, and we all agree that if you do the crime you have to do the time... but the problem is in the fact that minorities are in the position where as a whole they are living in the poor econimic situations, and therefore ARE the ones committing the crimes, and THATS the problem... and the problem is it seems theres no way for them to come up in our society... take the scene in Crash for example where the Hispanic dude is fixing the lock in that uppity white family's home, and the wife is like "Look at his gang tattoos, i dont want that "homie" to have a key to my house, i want them changed again in the morning"... so its like even if somebody who may have had a bad history TRIES to get a real job and move on like you tell them to, they just get pushed back down... its like theyre treated as like a whole different breed of people, or Americans, and they should just stay in their little role in our society of crime as long as they keep it to themselves and dont involve the wealthy whites... and THAT is how our society is racist.

oh, and dont come in here like "aren't you white???"
yes i'm white, but that isnt a synonym for ignorant...

So you're justifying minorities breaking the law by saying that because they're in a poor economic situation, it's not their fault that they do it? That's what I got out of your post.

And no, I'm not saying that white people don't break the law or have any justification for breaking the law either. . don't get it twisted. It's just his whole post was about minorities being in jail and how they have to do it because of their poor economic situation (which is bullshit).

no, lol i didnt have a "blaming" tone at all through that whole thing... but this is the real world, and the fact is it is ALWAYS going to be the lower economic bracket that is commiting the (majority of) crimes... so the problem (and reason that its evident that our society still has racial barriers) is that minorities still make up that lower economic bracket by an astounding percentage...

Its called covering all bases, which is something thats required a lot these days because in these modern societys you cant trust anybody in the public....

You know my views on racism... It exists... But theres no one person or entire race you can blame for it politically..............And socially its only the fucking morons who perpectuate it in the first place..

And minoritys also have to realise that when you are living in a country, there is always gonna be an element of the government supporting their majority first, cause the majority who arnt living in poverty are the ones who are giving them the most tax..

Its like illegal drugs.. Weed is considered illegal, and why? Cause they cant fucking tax it like all those good legal drugs like alcahol and ciggerettes which are responsible for over 40000 deaths anually.........

Minoritys pay less tax, and obviously the governments gonna rort them a bit. Cause you dont think on humane and equal terms when you run countries, you think on whats best for the country now and in the future..

Sometimes the truth is too harsh for those involved to fully understand though.

I'm in full support of minoritys fighting for their rights, but ultimatly, a lot of minoritys just bring crime, mass poverty and take up all the sucky jobs that nobody else wants to do...

The government would see a lot of them as just the scum of the earth.... Thats harsh truth..... Dont shoot the messenger..

well...the discrepancy lies in the fact that blacks make up only 13-15% of the population in the US, but make up a hugely disproportionate percentage of the prison population. So, that begs the question: "Do more blacks commit more crimes than whites?" There are more white people in this country. So, you would think that more white people would commit more crimes because there are more here. And, yet, you still have a higher percentage of blacks in prison relative to their population in the U.S. Why is that? Some will say that blacks are less likely to afford proper counsel during indictment and eventually a trial. Some say that blacks are more likely to be convicted of a crime over their white counterparts. I don't know. Whatever the case may be, race relations in this country are still tender.

BUT, i was just recently talking to this girl i know who lives in Australia and she brought something to my attention... you really CANT understand what im talking about, or at least the same type of racism im talking about, because in her words "there ARE no black people here"... lol, and i dont mean any people of color, but even if there are it isnt the same African-American culture that is being talked about in most of these threads you respond in... AND, she told me about how evvvverybody over there always uses the term "wigger" constintently... but like she said earlier, there ARE no black people, so its like yall have this twisted view of how things are... i dunno, correct me if im wrong, it might just be where she lives...

It wasn't to you. The conditioning for minorities shit was actually true. I hate it when people are like "its a fact minorities just dont pay taxes, minorities do this bla bla", when white people do the same shit. There isnt one thing minorities do that white people don't. So basically its like "yeah but yall do it more, so yea booo" shit. The original setup for black people was for them to fail, and although its entirely possible to rise from it, the original condition is instant failure. You're born into it. I hate talking about race on RV cause its like a brickwall, no matter what you say there is no unfairness in the world at all. Either that or the unfairness has a "eh, what can ya do?" logic to it..

i think i speak for everyone when i say Racism is bullshit!!
