The term "keystyle"...

I've never really understood it.
What? Is it trying to give off the impression that you freestyled a text verse? Writing is writing, and if you're typing you're thinking about what you're saying. If you say something is a keystyle, doesnt that just mean you wrote it on the computer? Would you honestly go to anyone in real life and say "Yeah I cant freestyle but I can keystyle that hot shit. Straight off the top of my dome to the keyboard to the spelling and grammar check and reading over it twice then posting it on the internet, yo."

Keystyling is basically taking no real thought over a verse. It's basically writing without editing anything, or very minor editing.

keystyling is sitting down at ur comp in the thread and actually coming up with the verse on the spot. you just write whatever and dont do too much editing, as opposed to sitting wit a paper and pen and writing a verse to post later.

I know what it is, its just a stupid thing to do.
If you're typing up a verse, why would you submit it without reading over it or editing it? Thats the beauty of text. If you want to try and look cool then get some audio equipment and record a freestyle.

Good question man, and I believe your right. Keystyle is anything written period, yea man it's more true by admitting it I guess. It aint a real freestyle cause typin gives off enough time to think easier.
