yeah. So i'm looking for a good decent mic. Under 150 dollars. What would be the best way of getting this. And the cheapest way to get the mic aswell.

decent/good especially with the equiptment you already ahve would be the co1u that EVERYIONE is getting.....
round 70 if you just get the mic on ebay.....if you get accesories n up it can be around 100 well worth it tho

yea, plugs into your usb so you dont have to buy an interface.....the best deal your gon get for under 150......Q, Tito, enygma, IG are some who have the mic.......yep

to be honest.. dont waste your money on that mic.. it pays off to just save up like i did and get a decent setup. the samson is booboo when it comes to condensor mics.

as a matter of fact. for 270-300 (includig tax more like 300) you can have decent to good quality man..
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/FastTrackPro/ ^ M-Audio Fasttrack Pro (with phantom power switch and preamps) $199 MXL 990 (about 50 bucks to 70 bucks depends on where you buy it) find a nice quiert place to record, and you will have good quality. Opey on RB uses that mic, of course he has a fuckin mbox with protools, but you'll have pretty good quality with that setup yo. and its only 300 bucks. just save up and buy something worth buying

my mic was 200. and my Interface/soundcard was 500-600 bucks. not including all the extra shit like chords and filters and studio foam......

yeah yeah i got the soundcard hooked up. I payed 370 for mine. It came with an ampliyfer. mixer. and shit. its the sound blaster audigy 2 zs shits good as hell. Well worth the money. But i just need the mic. Damn

word i seen one of them jigs. its a good card. but it dont have phantom power on it i dont think. which means you need to cop a preamp also :-/,.... your better off coppin a MXL 990 with a 100 dolla preamp.. could run you around 170
