the donation and money spent on cancer reasearch is a fucking joke. we've spent 100's of billion of dollars, i want to know wtf they doing with it. buy platium gold test tubes? like comon. with the amount of money we've spent on cancer we could of cured like 100 other smaller dieases. like fuking stds. If I'm 60 and have cancer I'm not gonna give 2 shits, yeah its gonna blow.. but id rather have that then gonhear or some shit.

Actually the incidence of cancer has been steadily rising, and the mortality rate has been steadily falling.
That means that they've made better technology to detect cancer (meaning more cases of it) and better technology to treat cancer (meaning less people die of it).

i didnt know you could be CURED for cancer. its always a possiblity for it to come back. maybe if you catch it early tho. but i dont know
but then again what is the probablility of you dying from gonorrhea than you dying from cancer? i would rather have cancer than have ANY std. thats just nasty as hell. but as long as i stay healthy and get no disease, condition: alzheimers, parkinsons. then im cool but i feel he's also saying that ALLLL this money we spend on cancer research, all these people that have cancer, how many have been cured. obviouls ynot a significant amount. you cant buy an over the counter drug to clear that lung ancer right up. i dont know but my theory is scientists and doctors are spending more time trying to find a cure for cancer than aids because they will most likely feel that its not cancer patient/victims faults that they have it, but who's fault is it that a person has hiv or aids?

i agree with that also. no one really cares about the world but some do. and i respect the people that do. like on the vmas. queen latifah said there are 9 billion people in this world. its only 250 million in america. which is good but its like damn, how many kids do they plan on havin
we are goin into a mass extinction soon which explains the "lack" of natural resources. but its a secret. so we dont know for sure if they want us to die or not and to go off topic some more also i got this r.l stine book of his favorite scary stories and i hate it because it makes me so mad. lol. its one where all these, either boys or just kids at a certain age had to take a test. and the boy passed the test but because he passed he was too smart so he had to die. although i know its not true, it made me mad and that is one of my least favorite stories.

The cancer association and things like that need this money so they can keep fighting cancer...chemotherapy and all that have to owe a lot of thanks to these donations and things....will there be a cure for cancer? well...lets think...cancer is sooo broad...their are many many many types of cancers out there....its such a HUGE area..that if we hope to cure some of the more populous cancer patients like people with breast cancer or kidney cancer then we need that extra money...we serously do...new breakthroughs are on the verge of happening all the time....why? becuase this money pays for the technology to lead us there...... so think before you post man...it'll save you some time.

Instead of thinking of whether you would rather have cancer or gonorrhea when you are 60, think of which one you would prefer to be diagnosed with tomorrow. Gonorrhea is probably a bad choice since it's curable. So lets make it HIV or herpes. Except for AIDS, you won't die from STDs. Yes, it is an inconvenience and a stigma, but not deadly. Even with HIV, with the current drugs, there are people living for many, many years. There are babies born with AIDS and are still alive in their 20s.
On the other hand, if you get cancer and you are diagnosed in the later stages and it has spread to the lymph nodes and other organs, you are basically fucked. Lifespan would be in months or a few years. And you aren't going to die peacefully one day while you are sleeping. You will instead slowly waste away and in the final months your organs will be shutting down and if it weren't for the pain medication, you will be begging for it to end. Should you get lucky and catch it early, there is always a chance it will come back. Oh, and on wikipedia, it says we've hit 6.5 billion people back in Feb '06.. Not quite at 9 billion yet.. it's forecasted we'd hit that in the 2040s.
