Japanese people have the dopest culture I have ever seen. I just found out that for hundreds of years (it has changed recently) their version of alphabetical order of their version of "letters" was a poem..

Like, we have a b c d e f g h i j k etc etc... But theirs was this:

i ro ha ni ho he to
chi ri nu ru wo
wa ka yo ta re so
tsu ne na ra mu
u wi no o ku ya ma
ke fu ko e te
a sa ki yu me mi shi
we hi mo se su

when translated it reads:

As flowers are brilliant but [inevitably] fall,
who could remain constant in our world? [No one could]
Today let us transcend the high mountain of transience,
and there will be no more shallow dreaming, no more delusions.

and that is their letter order.. lmao.. Whoever is responsible for that is ill.

Actually that sound doesn't exist in english... It's a cross between l and r, so they use it instead of l's and r's, and when translated it can be either l or r.
