Is HD a gimmick?

Don't get me wrong...I love the clarity of HD...
But, if they air some programs in HD, why can't they air all of them in HD? Comcast charges more for an HD tuner and for HD channels. Then, other channels are SD (standard definition). I'm starting to think this is a rip off. |
