Starting out

I've been thinkin of moving into audio and I've been listening to a few instrumentals.
I was jus wondering what do most of you do when making a song? i mean, do you first find a beat and write lyrics for it or do you first write the lyrics and try to find a beat that suits it? |

usually get the beat first, cuz you can make you lyrics more custom for the beat.by saying words a certain way to ride the beat better..
i never write lyrics then try to throw it to a beat

if you produce then you can write the lyrics first and always make the beat suitable...but with non-editable beats you should write to the beat instead of acapella
