*Guya - it's roughly the belief that 'God' is Earth in a sense. And Guya is what 'God' is called of this Earth. And that every planet has it's own God. Or something along those lines, it's late, so excuse me if i'm wrong...(if you have a more exact definition, then please do tell...*looks towards Necro*...otherwise, i'll add one on later...)...

Guya, synonimous Geo and Gaia. Pre-Judeo-Christain Earth God, worshipped as god of nature and Earth by those like Al Gore.

There was quite a bit of religeous undertone in this. In fact, the scene in my mind I derived from it was a sort of Aztec-ish ritualistic sacrafice to the god's there they tear someones heart out. Am I close?

This was a pretty kick ass peice, I read it a few times though. With the last sentence alternating. Rivers of blood line seems more poetic and all, but the blood of mortal rain seems to finalize the image of someone getting killed. The second paragraph I didn't understand quite right though. But anyway, it's great.

I was feelin' this piece, imagery and nice strucutre to it, the theme was something that you did nicely in producing a nice image for me to view...



Personally I like the first one better, a nice strong piece right here, you held some nice religious undertones as Necromencer said, a very nice one kidd...

...Aztec-ish? Well, i know what you mean. When they used to sacrifice people to their gods on the pyramids they built. But nah, it aint exactly about that. But relates to it.

I was using different faiths as examples...the first was the Hindu faith...the second Christian...the third was a bit of 'new world', budhism n what not...edging onto an over-view of the situation using a balanced, if not slightly left wing perspective - but nonetheless, a quite sane one amid the insanity....and the last one was Islam, edging onto the consequences of all these religious wrangling that come out of the heart n soul of humanity...with Islam being used as like Christianity was in the dark ages, now being intepreted in a negative way, as fodder for war on Jews, the west, Hindus etc...using it as a front for politics, power and social injustice and what not....so i felt the consequences over-sight was suitable in a sense (emphasis on 'in a sense'...)...

...well, along those lines anyway...but in the end, it's about religion destroying us all..but more so man-made problems destroying us all, in an ironic sense...

Oh, and one more time...this is not ANTI GOD as such....so don't take unecessary offence...

Regardless-- I think its evident that theres anti god sentiment within this piece-- I think for the magnitude of importance for this particular subject there could have been a stronger way of going about it but then again the asperity of the subject on a personal level maybe in conflict with my opinion--
