Asking can I help, is there something I can do
thought for just a split second
that his ego's bullet proof::::
He finally snaps upon me saying it's beyond my reach
I sat quietly, listening to fury,
his security has been breached::::
looking into his eyes my soul begans to
ache trying to shake off upcoming tears
that will stream into his lake::::

Now he's talking out of anger and his rage is growing near
the reason that he stands out when he's among his peers::::
regreting that I asked, a question with many of answers
cause it kills me slowly
like a burning cigarette creating the
strongest cancer::::
He said he does'nt trust his family, and he does'nt trust me either
that must have made my eyes burn with sadness
felt like they were splashed with ether::::
So what is a girl like me to do, I gave him no reasons to doubt
I love him to the fullest extent, he know's cause actions are loud::::

Many pressure points upon his back, so I understand why he's mad, but what did I do why don't he trust me I'm confused just like stripes of plaid::::
without trust there is no us, I now think it's just me, all I want is a simple answer and this is all that I plead::::
without trust I have no reason to tell you that I care cause you would'nt believe me anyway so what emotions should I share::::
without trust it's just me still shining in what seems dim light
so tell me why you dont trust me, tell me why I still have to fight::::
