I've was at the Rock The Mic concert last night, and I knew there was an underground cat named Copywrite that I've heard on projects with RJD2.... so when I saw this dude Copywrite perform a song on the first stage of the event prior to the concert I was thinkin "Naw, this can't be the same cat" He ripped it obviously, don't know what the name was, but it was off hook.

Then he battled this black dude name Skyscraper right before Jay-Z came up to perform. Skyscraper was dissin him with some "cracker" jokes like "You might as well get in my belly/ Cuz I eat crackers with peanut butter and jelly" and numerous Eminem comparisons. Then Copy got up and ripped dude a new asshole... most notebly "Funny you call me Eminem cuz I wouldn't sign you for 50 cents" and "If you a skyscraper I'm the Taliban flyin and airplane" After that, Skyscraper was booed of stage by the crowd of thousands and Copywrite was cheered into being welcomed by Kanye West as the newest member of the Roc a fella army (atleast thats what they said before they battled, that the winner would be signed).

So with that bein said... I've been tryna find verification that the Copywrite from last night was the same from the one I've heard numerous times in outstanding underground tracks. Then I stumbled upon this website and saw this topic....

I'm now sure that since y'all had a buzz about it and all that this is the same MC who spit fire in front of thousands last night.

So yes... Copywrite not only won, but gain a whole shit load of new fans in the process....
