Arrow Drowning...

IP: 24A3 0EF0

Hey, I aint written in a while, wrote this one last night. Comments appreciated.

---

Depression washes over me
Huge waves, on a high horizon
Sheets of water cleansing me
A cool, refreshing shower

Gravity pulls me in,
It embraces me
Unwilling to release me,
I'm now a victim of this nightmare.

The water drows me
Pushing me into the sea
I hold my breath
Trying hard to see

It engulfs me and pushes hard
Overpowering my senses
I can't hold it off
It savages me
Then it leaves me there, defenceless

I drift and rise
I'm lighter now
I leave my corpse behind
My spirit sores
With all its might

To a place far beyond life.

Oh my satanic thoughts of babylon!! She threw herself off the cliff into the water below!! With a rock tied to her feet?!

I liked this. It was quite sharp, yet flowed fairly well. The overall meaning of the piece was there to get. Yet it wasn't obvious. It was dug a bit. I must admit, i am a bit confused to how exactly it was you killed yourself.

Did you jump off a cliff and onto the shallow waters below? Then the tide slowly dragged you in whilst you were drowning?

Or were you dragged in whilst swimming or walking? Or even accidently fell in?

Sorry, i'm a bit blocked up at present. So not thinking completely straight. But i got the jist of it for sure.

..resp..

I kinda had the picture in my head of standing in the sea with the waves homing in and crashing over my head. I probably could've elaborated on that a bit more.

Yeah, I will do. I'm not on here often but I'll make sure I have a look around.

Thanks both for all your comments.
