fragments of light cascade across my sight
shades of black and white invade the night
its a fight just to stay awake and write
eyes are focused tight, glued to the screen
words are formed thru letters being teamed
sounds and sylobols come together clean
the flow picks up steam, verse takes shape
verbs are placed into their fitted case
each space represents time to think
smash thru mental blocks confining the links
every setence's connection uniquely distinct
till fatigue sets in, sleep is on the brink
attention span shirnks, hard to piece the puzzle
eyes are in trouble as tiredness doubles
time expires, each second collected is subtle
thoughts once so loud.. are now distorted and muffled
my mind wonders as my eye lids slowly close
got to finish this piece.. so i'll only doze
next thing you know its morning & the computer froze
my mirror exposed.. sleep marks and keyboard imprints
never write sleep deprived, just save and print it
prose didnt survive, never should’ve tried to finish it
now those images become unlimited ports of stress
mad at myself for coming up short in text
all because I tried to force the thoughts off my chest

Uh, Im Not Sure If I Have To Break This Down. Evolve Won This For Obvious Reasons, Such As, More Effort. I Thought This Was Gonna Be A Descent Battle But Im Fooled. Vote Evolve.
He Had A Descent Concept And Good Flow And Kept My Intrest. Blah

Evolves time and effort really showed compared to Fgee's. not that Fgee had a bad verse cuz it was good for a keyed one but the concept and presentation was not as good as Evolves

I truly did like fgee's, just wanna say that. But Evolve, yours just clicked with me, we have all been there. Their is nothing else to say, fgee, great verse, nice lil flip, but it look like evolve was making flapjacks.

Good pieces to both of you. Though it took you basically no time to do your pieces, i have to give this to Evolve for an overall better drop. Not saying that i didn't like Fgees but Evolve's came out alot better.
