The flow really isnt off.. if you read it quickly and dont stop at the end of the bars.. because that's not really how I wrote it, to have bars... but I know some people hate paragraph structure, and that's how I wrote it.. so I tried to break it up for you.

You were there for it all, when I dared to stand tall,
when I was scared to fall,
I wasn't standin on firm ground,
I was on the wrong path and you turned me around,
I was down and out, but you'd scream and shout
til I got back to my feet, if I'd wanna retreat
when I thought I was beat, You'd make me compete,
even if I was weak, you'd help me along,
help me get strong, help me to do whatever I put my mind to,
If I wanted to do somethin, you'd tell me to do it,
and you were the one who would help me through it,
its you, who I run to when I need someone to talk to,
no matter what I'm goin through, you make it your problem too,
bad times when my dad could have died,
you took the time and cried with my eyes,
you sighed and said everything would be fine,
and you were right, just like every other time.

ahh friends there from the jump whenever might argue get into big fights but if real friends you both will get over it .. i understand how u feel and where you coming from in da poem..the type of person i am.. im the friend to help you before i help myself u know ...friends last foreva. nice shyt
