Loyalty in Hiphop

IP: D961 DE15

is Dead. If you aren't on the same record label (and sometimes even if you are) then you have no friends, only buisness associates. A good example of this is Jay-Z,DMX,and Ja Rule they all came into the game together. Irv played a helping hand in all three of them getting signed. And its even because of Ja Rule that DMX got his deal (Russel Simmons said it) but after the three of them got their success it was over with. Jay Z and X remained cool until the Jada and Beans beef, and Jay z and Ja were tight until Irv tried to sign Nas, DMX flipped out one day and decided he don't like Ja anymore. DMX did a song with 50 dissing Ja, only a few years after doing a song for the murdereres album dissing 50. And on the song with 50 he rhymes 'i remember us flowing in cyphers with Run DMC" and said in an interview that they have always been cool and he always liked 50. If they were always cool, and he liked 50 then 50 would've been signed a very long time ago and he wouldn't of done the track with Ja shitting on 50.But now that 50 is more marketable then Ja all of a sudden X been cool with him?

I guess its true what they say "this rap shit is wrestling 2 percent of it is real"

Yeah, i'm aware of all of this, but back in 2000 or 1999 50 made a track called "The Art Of Gettin Robbed" which dissed everyone, even dmx, jay-z, all of em. And now he's chill wid some of em now. But yet he claims gangsta n shit, real gangsta stick wid there opinions, but then again once you get dough like they got, there's no need to be hard.

i don't respect anyone that isn't loyal. but the truth is i understand why some of them switch sides.

Tupac never liked Dre or Snoop.... He Said It Himself that it was all to make money... & in 1995 I believe it was... Snoop was on the radio speakin' on Pac... Pac thought he was talkin shit. Called Suge all crazy tellin' him to put on the radio... then next time he seen Snoop he smacked him like a bitch... & no, I'm making this up.. I read this somewhere*not on a rap site*

but why would DMX need 50 for money ( im honestly asking, no questioning the truth of your words)? cos i thought DMX had like 5 albums each one like x3 platinum which would make him richer than both ja and 50... unless im wrong :S

so far, the only loyalty ive seen thats stood out for longer than 10 years is dre and snoop.. red and meth have been down for a long time too... gangstarr have been together for a while... and outkast... but thats pretty much all i can think of now without searching the underground

He didn't diss them. It was a song. Half the shit was a compliment basically.

But most of all, who cares
