iPod Help!

IP: 97A1 4BD2

So yea..my dumb ass friend plugged my nano pod into his comp to charge, and all my songs erased. He has some wierd version of iTunes at that. I aint no computer nerd, so I thought my shit was fucked and he told me all I hafto do is plug it back into my iTunes and all my songs will update again. So, I did that, but my shit only fits 3gb now. I got a 4gb nano and it only fits 3gb. This is bullshit. Anyone knows what the deal is?

woohoo salty.

its not because his shit is weird, as far as your shit getting deleted his monkey ass just didnt uncheck the box in the settings that says something along the lines of "auto update files" which means his shit auto updated/ erased your shit. He coulda advoided it but hes a knuckle head.

Your shit is missing a gig prolly because it has a file / video / somethin on it somewhere. I suggest doing this. Its a pain in the ass but.

Take your ITunes list, and completely empty it. Then plug your ipod in and hit update. It will erase everything, then you have to rebuild your list.

Thank your friend for all the extra BS you have to under-go.

lol smart choice..

you should keep all your songs/cd/music folders in one place so that it's easy to Rebuild your list.

hM..i dont know. I just did that...and it wont let me update the songs when I just put em back on there..
it's saying it cant be updated because it doesnt have enough space on the ipod..but i aint got shit on there right now. there are no songs on my ipod. this shit is wierd. only way it will update, is if i click ok, stating that itunes will select tha songs for me...which will take me back to where i was b4.

Delete all songs in itunes (If asked to keep files, say yes keep the files)

then go back and get all your song and put them back into itunes, Not by playing but by dragging them.

Then go to your options/pref box and click "auto update ipod"

then just plug your ipod in. and it will put all your songs back onto the Ipod.

Nothing is wrong here. Mines a 60 GB and it only fits 57 GB. Apple is allowed to round it up.
