i jus got a Samsung a390, and my uncle told me i could record my own ringtones, i know how to record them but i dont no how o set it as a ringtone, help!!!

I dont know about that but the BlueBerryPearl from T-mobile can download MP3s from your computer then you can use them as ringtones..maybe your shits the same way man.

you can't record and set as a ringtone.. (i don't think so at least) however to put your own songs from here on to there you need a USB data cable, mine was like $10 and some program.. AND if you want the easier way out

go to this site and follow the instructions

its pretty easy. easiest way i have found.
type in your phone number
the name of the file
the location on your computer

it sends a text message to your computer
open it and hit the go button or options and go
the file will download

it will give you the option to listen to or set as.
select set as and make it for whichever calls you want.

Last week, a girl in my town was downloading ring tones while driving, and ended up running over some dude on a bike. He died. As it turns out, that girl was one of my driving partners in driver's ed. sophomore year.

Yet another reason why I just want my phone to go "ring a ding ding".
