How dumb is this girl. Weeks commence Sunday no matter what country your are in its not a British thing you stupid girl. So seeing as today is sunday, you said "mid next week" that would mean, the middle of next week, therefore explains why I thought you meant Sunday plus 7 days(thats what a week consists of Kitten, just so you know) and in the middle of the week which could be Tuesday or Wednesday.

To conclude...

Weeks start on Sundays.

One week consists of 7 days.

Mid week means the middle of a week.
