"Way of the World"

It's a main component of the world we live in today/
The po' folk struggle ta get through each and everyday/
While the rich gettin' richer in every single way/
The world is comprised of fake lies and alibies/
That corrupt the street corners and pollute the young minds/
Many kids get caught up in the lies that bring forth their own demise/
You can see if you juss look into a strugglin' mother's eyes/
The emptyness left with nothin' to fill the void her deceased son left/
Many people can't help the circumstances their dealt/
Juss know if you help it choose the other hand that's dealt/
Cuz this is some real ish and believe its heartfelt/

The po' struggle to scrounge and make ends meat/ (It's the way of the world)
Some kids slip, fall and feel the consequences of packin' heat/ (It's the way of the world)
Other have everything handed to em on a golden platter/ (It's the way of the world)
But karma will come around they'll get it back and what have you/ / (It's the way of the world)

Time and time again you see families strugglin'/
The father walked out or someone's abusin' drugs again/
I know ya'll can relate so stand up and retaliate/
Make sure that you learn from other people's mistakes/
Teach your kids it's important to do good in class/
Tell them it's okay if they wanna forge their own path/
The young ones are the future of this bright world/
So they've gotta be groomed right to push forward
and get ahead in the world/
Maybe if this happened people could learn to get along/
Cuz i know where i'm from i see people day in and
day out whose midset's are wrong/
Juss cause one of their friends believes one thing
they think they should too/
Maybe that's why so many people in the world are prejudice too/
Cuz people like them try to out number people like me and you/
