Very good song....and although the subject of the verse was played, you didnt "lash" out at your mother, like these kids in Open Mic...Giving credit to your mother, good stuff...Good metaphors at the end and nice flow for it...Good vocab, everything on tight...Nice work...

But i want to comment on ur bar scheme/structure...

The way u write ur senteces are very interesting...I mean, it feels like the line should of finished a couple of words back, but it feels right to keep at the same sentence....Iv noticed that Aesop can do this good...But he does it without any internal rhymes, where as you do....
