Okay...Triple claims he "used" me for 3 months for Cool Edit Advice...
IP: 45E9 3810
LOL @ his simple ass...um...I'm not even all that good at cool edit...Furthermore, here is the so-called "advice" I gave him. Wow, took him 3 months to elicit this from me. I'm giving it to you all for free...
Aiyo Triple...FUCK YOU DAWG...faggot whore bitch. Every Mic and computer set-up has it's own NOISE that pollutes the sound of your vocals. So, you want to try and remove as much noise as possible by doing the following: 1...Open Cool Edit and Click New... 2...In volume control, set your mixer to MIC...adjust the levels as necessary...It's always better to record with the levels lower and then amp them later. 3...Click record on cool edit and let it record for 5-10 seconds without saying anything. All noise that the mic/speakers make will be recorded into that session. 4...Hi-lite those 5 seconds of noise...It will probably be some hissing, maybe some clicks. 5...CLick on EFFECTS...then NOISE REDUCTION in the menu area od cool edit...then scroll down and click on NOISE REDUCTION... 6...In the upper right hand corner, you'll see buttons for options that say :Load Profile, Save Profile, Get Sample from Selection. 7..Click on Get Sample from selection...wait until the computer loads the sample in 8...THIS IS IMPORTANT: After the computer finishes getting the sample, go down to the bottom of the screen and click on CLOSE...not cancel, CLOSE 9...Record your vocals as normal 10...After you finish recording your vocals to your song, hi-lite the screen, or just return the curser bar to the beginning of the vocals, that indicates you want the effect to be rendered for the entire screen. 11...GO back under EFFECTS>>>NOISE REDUCTION>>>Noise reduction... 12...Before you click OK...go to the bottom of the screen where it says Noise reduction level...That usually is at 100...change it to 95 13...CLick OKAY...the computer then removes all noise specific to your mic/speaker set-up...Remember, the profile was already loaded into the computer's memorey from an earlier step. THIS REMOVES MOST NOISE FROM VOCALS. ***To really give the vocals a nice presence, Go under Effects...then FILTERS...then Graphic Equalizer. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Vocal Presence Boost. This really makes vocals sound crisp and clear... FInally, AMP your vocals by using HARDLIMIT instead of regular AMP because it prevents distortion. HOLLA |
