you know that feeling , i know you do
that feeling when something is about to happen
but you cant stop it, and all you think you can do is
simply never enough
you know that feeling when you want to say more
but every word you push out is just muttered and nothing
no nothing ever comes from the soul
that feeling when just as they walk away
and you know your never going to see them again
but something about that walk , that long walk, the one that comes in
slow mo, the internal kind
its hard to describe but i would if i had a chance
and a few moments notice and a little knowledge of the future
its hard to understand what it holds,
and sometimes thing are left unsaid
because thats the way it was suppose to be ,
you know the outcome , and you just watch it happen,
that feeling , that can never be erased,
but is eventually replaced, by a cigarette,
lit
and as you draw in each breath, you hold it in, jus, just to get away from it all but the one thing that remains,
that feeling that it didnt accomplish anything except, that for those few moments, that inner peace you thought imagined was real
