Adobe Audition/Cool Edit Problem.. Help!

I have Adobe Audition 1.5, and I just reinstalled it after my computer had reinstalled my harddrive.. well, I have a problem..
How do I Render a file again.. I remember i think, i click on what i want saved, and I go to Mix Down To File.. well, all this does is make another mix down, another copy, but it doesn't save it at all, like i thought i remembered it doing.. the last time, it asked me What format, and i'd put mp3pro, then it would make an Mp3 file, how do i get it to do that again.. i either forgot, or i'm doin something wrong..

You gotta go to the single track and then go to file....then save it
