Mics For Starters
IP:
now most of yall use a 5-30.00 mic found at any best buy
wal-mart, comp usa, etc thats cool if your starting out and thats all you got to work with i use to use a Atlantic Lansing...something like that...works pretty good the headphones on it are nice for working with also, but if you want to move up and up your quality here ya go Condenser Mics most people talk about getting a condenser mic and those are nice except if your short on cash the catch is that you have to buy the phantom power for it, aka a pre amp which can cost 80-100.00 and thats for a cheap one, but if your looking for pro shit a nueman(ms) or Rode NT 1000 is the way to go on these things Dynamic Mics These will work just as well as the condenser except they dont need phantom power,,,yay for you saves you cash, now you will need the cables and plug for you soundcard the cables ranging from 10-26 a cable and the plug being about 2.50. a good mics in this stack are the shure sm58 and AKG D850 another is also the audiotech.... audiotech as many so make sure you ask for a vocal mic hope that helps yall katz i myself just got a AKG D850 which is 179.00 |
