fallen heroes

IP:

(me)When we see hip-hop all we see is the fame
But there’s tragedies deaths and failures that lie beneath the game
It’s a shame, that people seem to look past this point
If it wasn’t for the legends, we wouldn’t be at this point
Biggie, Tupac, and Eazy-E, just to name a few
If only they could see, how much hip-hop grew
Take a second to think if there was no hip-hop on the globe
There’d be so many people without a lifestyle of their own
Children, adolescence, and grown, would all be with out rap
And every fan at the tupac concert would never be able to clap
Like christ on the cross, they lost their life for the love
Instead of watching in person, now they have to watch from above
Stranded with no love, their music kept me alive, when cries were filling my eyes
Now there’s more rapperz than any other race, quickly filling the skies
They started a quilt, and this new generation has to continue to sew
They created the flow, made hip-hop grow, and are our fallen heroes.
