I try and walk the right path yet many sins tempt me..
Etching lyrics on my soul coz my pens been empty..
Pain? i've seen plenty in my lifetime already..
Tales of ups and downs but I keep the rhyme steady..
My sublime head frees me with thoughts of hope..
Without rap i'd be to distraught to cope..
I've fought through smoke to see the clear picture..
And try and avoid sorrow and fear's mixture..
That's hell's cocktail and i can't stand the taste..
So i disband this place, ran at a frantic pace..
Many man did waste their time on this Earth..
Spent every moment trying to find out his true worth..
Now i've escaped this hurt there's no lookin back..
Some put needles in they arm, i put hooks in tracks..
Eyes said to let my crown of thorns tell the story..
And as i yell for glory i'm hoping hell ignores me..
I'm not sure if crowd will or won't aplaud me..
But i know my notepad stays true and the words adore me..
I love hip-hop and will till the day the speakin ends..
The day i drown in the ink from a thousand leakin pens..
Shove a pencil in my heart, words pull the sky apart..
That day they'll say i lived and died for my art..
