Patrolling the borders of a forlorn area,
each passing day turning even more scarier.
They're living in decrepity with bad leprosy,
pawing their way through the weak barriers.

Maintaining the stations with the help of volunteers,
a cause and calls to the president falling to deaf ears.

They find the renegades and deport them,
declining entrance to an even worst home,
Not free, despite claims, birthing even worse pains...
just americans leaving their loved ones alone.

Refugees try and escape a life riddled with horrible crimes,
escaping a place of hate where they'd have to serve time.

The obvious lack of supplies leads bad beliefs,
hiding behind trees, waiting to unleash anger.
Waiting for the patrol to pass, it can't last,
living life in such solitude and such danger.

very original topic and nicely worded. pretty nice piece.

I especially like this part bcuz i can relate in a way many people could never understand.
