Incarcerated rappers Shyne and Cuban Linx were recently barred from attending a performance from R&B singer Sharissa at RikersIsland's correctional facility.

Sharissa, who is now signed to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def/Virgin Records imprint, requested that Shyne and Cuban attend her show from Riker's VIP section. Officials declined the singer's request.

Meanwhile, officials told Sharissa not to wear anything too revealing and four guards surrounded her at all times during the performance. She was also warned not to get too cozy to the 350 inmates present in the gymnasium. The singer's "In Love With a Thug" reportedly got a rousing response from the crowd.
