alright, so on AIM my comp keeps sending people a link to some website, i dont think theres even anything on it, and i keep getting these alert messages from nowhere when im not even on Internet Explorer or AIM talkin about "Your Computer Running Slow? click here" and its some thing u have to pay for to scan your computer, and the actual website to that thing will pop up whenever i get on Internet Explorer.... so obviously thats gotten onto my computer somehow... anybody know anything i could do or have any help for me?

i got it too is it block checker or somin?

or is it that one that sends like a message to go to there hotmail thing or somin, try deleting msn and aol or all the programs you use for that type of email shit then download them again.

what you do is go to start>run>then type in egedit
then go to local machine>software>micrcosoft>windows then delete its tab
then go to program files and delete it
and then uninstall it

before you call me a dumbass, before i even made this thread i deleted the program, ran Norton scan, Ad-Aware, and Spybot....

and i had to take it to the campus support center and get the shit re-imaged..
