Love is a must Love can be so true Loving is trust Thats why I trust you At the point where i break down in tears with thoughts of you I dont understand how at times...........i could not love you I would give anything to hug you, to see you once again I need you father understand, i need your guiding hand Nobody could help me through life like you can please dad Trust me nothing will take away the memories that i have Its been so long sonce i've seen you, almost over 2 years When i think about you, i cant help but break down in tears After all the years we spent, the good times and the bad I long to hear your laugh, to hear your voice makes me glad At times you even made me feel like i had nothing to lose..... Well since i lost you, i fear i have lost, and cant start anew Even tho as i child you left me batter and bruised, i forgave Cuz you straighed out your life with the decisions you've made And im glad you we've put the past behind us even tho it hurts You abused me, i thought it was because you hated me at first But being intoxicated made you lash out at your worst, and The truth it hurts, but i know you didnt mean to raise that hand You were just a troubled man, but then you realized it was wrong I forgave you father, and thats why i have wrote you this song To show that i care for you now, as much as i ever could or will Not afraid to admit i've cried, but trust it wasnt over spilled milk It was because i love the one who still inspires me to this day I admire that you call me, even if at times its just to say, Hey I struggle with depression at times, but i've learned its natural Many people get depressed, so i guess these feelings are factual No actual event could take you away from me father, we wont part For even in death you will still live in a place inside of my heart Cuz right form the start i was born to love you, because you see If it wasnt for you dad,....there wouldnt even be a song to read There wouldnt be a me,........so please just allow me to express That when i miss you, it leaves me a mess, with feelings of distress But none the less, i know your only a phone call away from me I miss the times we would fo fishing, racing, and even hunting It was quality time, time well worth spent, because in the end I knew that even if i needed you'd lend me a hand, as a friend And as a father, cuz as one you knew to, its what you did best And you did it like no other, because your different than all the rest So i write you this song,.........and i bring you this moment of truth Because nobody can have love, like the feelings ive expressed for you Love is a must Love can be so true Loving is trust Thats why I trust you  blah idc if the vocab was basic.....its the middle of the night and i just wanted to express myself....so hate on it if you must......but these words and feelings are true....i love my father very much...and i hope to see him in the near future....and i miss him very much
