Who says Islam isn't violent?


These deadly protests and violent outbursts by Iranian Muslims over this cartoon depicting the prophet Muhamed are ridiculous. In my opinion, religion and spirituality are about faith. If "civilized" people can't tolerate someone drawing negative caricatures of holy figures, then they are weak in faith. I mean, I've talked to people who have flat out said, "F*ck Jesus." I've seen people wearing shirts that read: "Jesus is a fag." Though those things are disheartening, they don't weaken my faith nor provoke me to turn violent. If anything, it strengthens my belief that God will have the last laugh when all is said and done. Those muslims in Iran are wrong. And, now, I just read on Cnn.com that the government of Iran is holding an official "Holocaust Cartoon drawing contest" to retaliate against the Danish cartoon that began all this melee. Are these people 5 years old or what? They need to STOP, stop stop!



New Species Discovered in Indonesia:


That's right. Scientists have discovered a multitude of new bird, frog, and insect species in a remote section of Indonesia. Who knows, maybe the cure to "incurable" diseases are just a rain forest away.



Coretta Scott King:


Receiving a dignitary's funeral. That is very impressive. Not only did thousands attend, but Presidents and celebrities of EVERY order bid their farewells.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie


I am sick and tired of hearing about them. You would think she was giving birth to Jesus himself. THink about it. Angelina basically stole Jennifer Anitson's husband. And, now, she's being celebrated because she can spread her legs and get knocked up? Whoa! Priorities and mind sets of people are screwed up. For the record, what those two did is wrong. You know the old saying. "If they cheat with you, they'll cheat on you." So, watch out Angelina. What goes around comes around.



Hurricane Katrina Victims being evicted from hotels.


I guess after months of "rent free" living, various hotel chains have had enough. That's right. Victims of Hurricane Kat are being forced out of hotels and left to their own devices. I guess the old saying applies here: "You ain't got to go home, but you got to get the hell outta here!"
