As the thread title says. If I get the go ahead to mod, which it seems I will, then RV will finally have a good text league.

I ain't bragging or anything, I'm just a good mod. I have time to set stuff up reguarly every week and personally, I don't find running a league hard.

The main thing with leagues being shut down here I noticed is no-shows. I don't care if people no-show as it'd be unfair for the people who do to shut the league down. And anyway, I had enough with no-shows in the old league I used to run. I think the league dropped to 9 people at one point cos of them, then I started putting in a lot of effort and it got up to 30.

But yeah, I just made this to raise everyones awareness so that when sign ups start, you can all sign up.

Also I need name suggestions. I was thinking LBL (Lyricist Battle League or Lyrical Battle League) but any suggestions would be taken into consideration, especially if people don't like the name I thought up.

What about the music, I'd rather see the songs forum more active with people.

Well yeah because I've never seen you around until right now.. but if your active for the league thats good and all.

It was the same with the other league I ran though. I came on with about 20 posts, saw that the league didn't have a mag, offered to the current league runner to do a mag and help him, then he decided that I could just run it entirely. And on that site I now have like 1,000 posts. So I'll be very active in the league forum when the league starts, and just as normal everywhere else.

As you can see....This says 'Text' league.

so run along with your little audios and preach it somewhere else.




But word to a better league, I'll help you run it if you need the help...Its about time rv had a decent text league, even if its just to boost activity, its been long over due...

Text isn't bad. I started in txt to learm metas, flow and wordplay. It helps learn to let people hear the flow, because they ave to read your verse in the same flow you are writing it in. Now that I'm goin audio I can switch a flow and rip a beat. Back from my text roots. lol
