Techniques and tricks to make your music addictive
IP:
And, I'm talking about besides making the song good. What else do you all do or know of to make your music addictive?
When I listen to certain tracks, they are almost mesmerizing. I think beat choose plays a big part. But, does anyone else use ad libs or special dubs to make people want to, or almost have to rewind your track to grasp it all? Lately, I like to layer my hooks so that it's almost like a mini-symphony to the listener. I've gotten mixed results on this. Some people can't distinguish between the discrete parts and think it sounds jumbled. Other people like it because it gives the hook flavor. What's your trick to making your songs addictive? |
