And you might learn something.
For a long time I've seen the threads about your favorite rapper, and eventually it leads to a 10 page arguement cuz of where people live and what they truely like. Now, let me break this down for you so you actually understand what a rapper is. A rapper is a person who can rap over a beat. This includes: flow, vocab, lyrics, voice, presence, and emotion. All must be done effectively and not be half assed or else he is bordering on performer. He does not rap for the money soley, but for his love of rapping and the culture he belongs to. He raps about different things and not the same BS over and over and over again. I have never seen people dance to 'Lose Yourself', but I think everyone will agree that the song is dope as hell. A rapper is a person who writes, records, and performs HIS music. A performer is a person who has the big beats that everyone can move to. He raps about stuff he probably didn't even write, he worries about the money he wants to make, he doesn't really need it, but he'd like to have it. He puts on big shows and makes tons of cash from them. His lyrics are not great, but you can dance to his music which makes him popular. His image and his reputation makes his career take off and land. Do you see the difference now?
