It's been over a year since I've recorded or done anything rap, and since I moved back to Pittsburgh from college, I'm really feeling to get back into the scene.

Anyways, within this thread are two unfinished/rough draft songs I've started working on this week. The quality is who knows, I don't really remember how to do all the editing and stuff anymore..

But I would really appreciate feedback in all aspects from flow, lyrics, beat choice, etc...

I am thinking about spending money on recording time, to better the quality and have professional people editing my shit, but I wanted to make sure before I persue that option, that I even have what it takes anymore.

Playing ruin the streets.
Beats felt. Like it, intros nice. flows punchy would sound nicer if it was slightly smoother, but its decent.
vocals sound like they have been produced and then amplied so its slightly fucked with your quality.

Lyrics are decent.
overall its a cool track just work on the vocal quality and it will be straight.

haven't heard you spit in a long time dude. i like ya voice man ya swagger a lot like tony does too. i'm feelin ya lyrics on these tracks....ya vocals a little loud on the physopath killer. but ya flows ill on both these tracks...lol @ how the voice of the hook sounds, thats cool though man. Im def likin this shit dude keep it up man.

ruins in the streets - the beat is pretty unique i feelt it.. definitly got that hip hop voice, ya flow is a little shaky at points.. pretty good for the most part though.. this one seems like its goin in the right direction.

Psychopath Killer - love beats wit guitars in them (yea i like Rock music too so what) sounds like a used sample though.. but this is like a DMX track in a way.. feelin the concept.. flow still a lil shaky... emotions nice.. i think this track will be better than the first..
all in all the quality is eh, its easy to make it sound atleast decent.. but u goin in the right direction man just a few fix ups.. i suggest goin to a studio if u have the money.. its good practice too and since its been over a year.. nice shit though man.. sound like someone i would collab with.. p'z

I peepin' runs in the street. The beat weird, first thing I noticed, iunno it's not horrible, but just not my shit. Flow pretty coo, fell off on some spots, but not too many. overall it was pretty good. Voice fits nice with beat. Delivery is ehh, like you put too much into it, should of gone with a more smooth delivery, nah mean? and gotta work on quality, but everyone does. But for the most part man, shit was pretty nice. keep it up man. peace
