Apparently it's supposed to blow Guitar Hero 3 out of the water. I'm pretty excited for it, especially because I'm a drummer/guitar player, shit looks like it will be mad fun.

Yeah it'll definetly be better than guitar hero 3. It's really gay how EA always does this shit though. They take an already successful concept and add shit to it and say "SEE?! WE'RE BETTER!". They did the same shit with Skate. Despite that though, rockband is the shit.

Rock Band is NOT a rip off of Guitar Hero. Think of it as an evolution.

Harmonix, the company who developed Guitar Hero one and two, is creating Rock Band. The developer of Guitar Hero III is Neversoft, the guys behind Tony Hawk.

Well, that makes it even MORE like skate/tony hawk. I play guitar and I hate other people so I'd probably go with guitar hero. Rockband is obviously better overall though. And did you see the reviews for tony hawk? jesus christ 5/10? Ouch.
