The Futures MC's...!!!

IP: DF45 9C15

I dont know if anybody ellse has relised this, but all of us on RB, and other sites like it, are the future of hip hop.....

Theres not many comercial MC's that use some of the things we use, allso, The underground, It has allot of very intellectual MC's, but not many of them use patterns and "internals" as advanced as some of us..!!!

What im trying to say is, the 80's had theyre way of Rappin', The 90's style is still more or less here, But the fututre..??
My thoughts are, that the Kids who learn on sites like these, or peeps who are well known, will change the way ppl rap, because its so Advanced..!!!

Just My thoughts....If any1 wants to alter this opinion, please do so...Explain urs....

Peace

It has nothing to do with being advanced. It has everything to do with giving a flying fuck.

'Cause when all the white bitches and all the white "bois" get older they'll move on. And the new generations will be masturbating to whatever new style of music they have that'll make them bump their rumps.

No one but the hardcore will give a fuckless about Hip-Hop.

But on the real, isn't there already a thread like this, still open?

I think it'll be hard for this kind of rap to go mainstream simply cuz you can't use quotations or italics or any kind of noticable symbolism to highlight the wordplay rappin on audio. Maybe they can mix in some sound effects to help. But mostly, peeps, the mainstream, the ones who raise record sales are just too busy or too dumb to try and figure out complex wordplay. They'd rather be spoon-fed simple (still good) shit like 50 Cent and Eminem (who can get mad complex, but if you notice, only his funny voiced shit makes it to the air, cept for maybe "Cleanin out Closet"). Peeps want to keep it simple. They got too much to think about in their own lives then to waste brain cells trying to decypher someone else's.

actually wut he said is very true. bazzy couldn't be more wrong. many mainstream artist now have home studios similar to some of ours. They use the same programs. of course they have some better gear because they can afford the best, but the idea is still there. the common assumption that real musicians and real "gangstas" don't have a computer is rediculous. This kinda crap only comes from the fake wannabes on this site that will never amount to anything in the music industry anyway. Our whole economy is pushing toward the internet and computers so why would you think that certain people wouldnt want computers or are "too cool" for computers. If u guys actually listened to some of the songs that our members drop some of them have real talent and really have stories to share. The styles represented in these songs are more advanced because our members demand much more from us. we dont have corporate sponsors marketing our music. we are forced to create true art or it wont be accepted. Members of this site are the best critics for hiphop because you tell it how it is. if u dont like it u feel the need to express every bit of that dislike lol. Plus the internet enables us to spread our music much more than slangin cds at shows. emcees just starting out can develop an expanded fan base before they ever do a show. I think to gain respect from internet listeners is a lot harder than gaining respect to mainstream fans. We are forced to prove ourselves much deeper than a tight beat with half-hearted lyrics. But the net also gives us an opportunity to learn how to improve our art. we all share tips and methods for recording and editing. we have people here willing to do things for free where you would have to pay a local company a couple hundred dollars. Bottom line is the internet is teaching us how to make music on our own. We wont need to pay a handful of people to do something that we can now do ourselves. that will give us a better jump in the industry when we decide to work toward our goals.

Posting on the internet doesn't do shit.
Past four years I've been steady posting my music.
I have a good grip where I'm at now and where I'm standing.
But .. I'm still very far away.
And I guarantee I'm one of the farthest evolved "in the game," if you will that posts on the internet.

You dont get signed by making music. You get signed by working your ass off. And not just behind the beat. Music is a business ... And the business aspect always comes way BEFORE THE MUSIC itself .. TRUST ME ...

If you come home, and post at RB for fun and to battle cats and only make music on here. You're going nowhere, that's a fair warning.

there are nearly 20,000 members on this site...its a fair assumption that they'll be a few emcees who make it out of all of them.

music IS a buisness, but whether the "white bitches" and "white bois" (nice racical remarks necro) get tired of it will not determine whether the art form has a future. i think sooner or later the public will crave something deep, and thats when artists like chibgy, joe budden and 50 will FUCK OFF.

dammit u post blocked me!

^werd up... but i think hes talkin about how it effects the lyrical style. and without a good style you'll never be shit no matter how much knowledge you have about the business. the internet is a good stepping stone to learn how to make good music. I know it has helped me a lot and it still is. if i wasnt on here id never know where to begin making a song. and i couldnt afford to pay someone to work with me. believe me, i know a good amount of people that have a lot of talent but struggle to make decent songs. the internet helps get a grasp on song making and learning wut listeners expect out of a song. When u start out by yourself theres no one to critique your shit until u do a show and u suck. if you deny what posting on sites like this can do for your music then youre really missing out.

No doubt, Opey - I completely agree with you . .

I`m just merely saying, you won't get signed for just posting shit on the internet, so if anyone is hoping for that, already - It's not going to happen ..

You need promotion - I've stuck ALOT of money into this shit already and I earned it back, but not before I put alot of money into shit - You have to get a fan base - You have to have promotion - Get credentials - Do shows - HAVE SOUND SCAN RECORDS .. All that shit

There's so much I wish everyone could know about music but people dont

I was just droppin' the copper

pZ..1
