That's because the hallucinations you see are actually from your own mind, they are things that you can relate to and know, brought to the outside world and presented extremely vivaciously...

Although last time I ate shrooms all it did was stretch me out and make me tired and weak. No amazing hallucinations. I prefer salvia to shrooms ..

for me, acid is much more visual than shrooms. but, the drawback of acid though is that when you're coming down, your spine tends to hurt for a while. shrooms doesn't have that effect...it's much more of a natural buzz sensation and you come down more subtly.

i must have bad luck, because all of the salvia that i've tried was bogus. hmmm.
