why does it matter if I give in to my struggles.//
just buckle under the pressure and crack like arthritis knuckles.//
I find pain humble, double the hurt but half the trouble, of seeking joy.//
peace is just a cheap ploy to make us believe it can be achieved.//
but knowing it can't brings more ease than bein' vexed on E's.//
an' if think you blessed you've been seriously decieved.//
a blessing's somethin' to bring order through fear of a more powerful being.//
but being aware of the lack of god brings on corruption disease and the creation of bombs.//
which in turn is creatin' alarm and causing countries who were once allies, to erupt in war.//
so what's any of this for.. why should I try if I just have to conform.//

Why should we behave?
why be a slave?
try to be your own person..
you just get put away....

this is what I'm talkin' about, freedom is somethin' we've all forgoten about.//
sure we're free to say what we please, but that's only part of the freedom I really need.//
I want to be able to release my negativity in ways that otherwise would be considered singularity.//
I want to stand alone through more than words, an' actions just get me into trouble/ like our version of freedom is cursed.//
the constitution is just a set of rules, that's sets our roles, personally it's absurd.//
I'd much rather if I was self governed, and not controled by wealth power.//
I'd melt cowards who hide behind lincoln prints.// (cash)
skip away from ink in pens and slay these fat cats with rings an' fists.//
but for now I'm askin.. why don't I have the freedom to do all of this.//
