Wake up and do the same shit over and over,
repititive sedatives in this daily routine,

I know not a thing out of the ordinary and it boggles my mind,
I even try out new things but there's nothin I find,
alone in my sorrow, I travel this path undaunted,
aimlessly wandering using my stick to guide me as if I am blind,

hoping the stick shall find me a place to reside and retain my pride,
yet it does nothing of the sort, it offers no such support,
so I search for a compainion to be a last resort,

yet all that I find is shadows in human bodies,
nothin solid that will last past the sunrise, not even inside of my closest allies,

so I ask myself, "what do you hope to gain from these short-lived friendships?"
buy then then I answer under my breath, "the hope for my future"

so I ask a shadow, "will you help me find my future?"
yet the shadow replies back, ".........no........."
