When I was a young boy, made dad left tha scene, not by choice/
so know it was my sister my moms and me/
Trying to make it work, trying to rebuild our family/
I was sad and upset but I didnt show it/
It felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders I didnt want to blow it/
Just 7 then but I had to evolve into a 7 year old that was more mature/
My mom had a rough time as it is raising two all by her lonesome/
Tried to be good didnt want to be troublesome/
Whatever she had to do I volunteered gladly/
All I wanted her to realize is that she can count on me/
No matter the situation, no matter the circumstances I will always be your # 1/
When we make it through the storm and the clouds pass you can see rays of the sun/
You can count on me to do whatever/
We been through it all together/
You helped me through problemsI didnt theink I would solve/
Being a mom is like being a doctor you always on call/
I give and I live for you to be proud of me/
Im 16 and whatever you ask you can count on me/
