Theses are the words of your average 16 year old

Though a person’s life may not have been very long it can feel like a million years. If you take in everything you see after 16 years you find you know more than people who have lived over double your lifetime

So sit up and pay attention, cause the next time you ignore someone
May be the last time you ever see them. The next time you blow some one off could be the last conversation they ever have.



this is not a poem nor should it be read like one. It is a collection of my thoughts about society and the reactions it has on people.

In my life I have discovered many things
I have discovered how intelligent men are still able to make foolish mistakes.
How intelligent men may miss what really matters behind the scenes.
I have found that behind a friend may be a person waiting for your back to turn,
and in an enemy may be a person who idolises you but cannot say it.
I have found that people always have two sides, even if they won’t admit it.
I have found that people can hate a person they have never met for a reason they have not decided.
I have found that while women like to express their feelings,
Men would rather express them in their actions.
I have found that fear of the unknown will always act on every person in the world,
I have found that fear is the real truth behind a judgement.
I have found and lost love, and my only mistake was to not act on these feelings.
I have found that the most embarrassing thing about a partner, weather it be girlfriend or lover is to lie to or about them, but worst of all, to lie about having them at all.
I have found that you will never be ‘just friends’ ever again,
I have found that you will never find the ability to converse properly ever again.
I have found that a sure way to loose a friend is to try and expand,
Try to expand by moving in with a person, innocently as it may be (e.g. Flatmates), or trying to make more of your relationship with a person.
I have found though, that the only way to test a true friendship is through this expansion.
I have found that a boss is not really interested in their employees;
I have found a boss will do anything for a more reliable, more efficient source of money.
I have found that around every corner is an adventure,
But around that corner may also be your demise.
I have found that everyone has a story, and by sitting and listening you can learn from others mistakes.
I have found that people from all walks of life are possible friends…
But I have found that a true friend does not try to change your ways.
I have found that behind every insult is a cry for help,
Weather it be helping a person to understand,
or if it be to help a person by befriending them against the odds.
People will read this and say they don’t get it,
but when you are feeling low they will understand.
Everyone has their take on life; all they need is to express it.
This is my take on life; this is my way of venting fury.
Find your take on life, just realising it is there is enough,
Now fulfil all that you can, making sure that your take of life sets each footstep.
