aight a was seriously bored so heres mine

Thru the looking glass came Clarity

Girl stands in front of a mirror looking at her reflection wondering how she could have missed this serious metamorphosis that her own self has went thru…and realises she was too busy trying to be something she was not to come to terms with who she was

The person she sees is of no recollection
As she squints even closer she cannot see her reflection
Instead a stranger stares back thru the blood sweat and tears
Trying to fight thru the pain and the consumption of fear
In her eyes which are glassy there is no soul left
took away by the beatings which left her inches from death
She used to be beautiful a song bird with pride
Now she’s locked in an invisible cage of fear..which she hides
Been in and out of rehab getting treated for depression
The use of drugs made her soar high..as if in other dimensions
But the hard hit of the fist brung her straight back to earth
Every night when she saw the mirror she would contemplate what she’s worth
She is unsure
She lost track of everything years before
When she tried her best to become a star, instead became a whore
Fuckin every director who gave her a second glance
As soon as they would whisper baby I think you’ve got a chance
ta hit tha big time wow that’s what she wanted to hear
but wit each man that she slept with…innocence disappeared
and noting would ever matter because she reached her stardom
Been so busy building a career she forgot what a bitch shed become
married the wrong person, and ended up a punch bag
Career had then flopped all she had left was her man
A binge drinker director who was fuckin some actress
As far as he was concerned his wife was last years attraction
So now she cries to the mirror her only real companion
Her face which follows her everywhere,
Shes a roughed up diamond
That’s been left to rot in the ashes of despair
No one believed her when she cried, not one friend really cared
She wanted to die and run away from her own person
But everyone knows the only thing that will always follow you…
Is your reflection

In coming to terms with her self again, this girl smashed the mirror and in a high state of irony,, slit her wrists with the shattered pieces of glass..this goes to show people..Fame is not everything…you must kno who you are inside….before you can pretend to be something you are not….(act)



I actually quite liked this topic so now that ive posted it here..ama gnna post it in open mic aswell to get some more opinions on it solo...aight so good luck gurl...this was quite a hard topic

right well pledge had a real nice feel to it, twisted topic a bit, but twisted it successfully which is the main thing....
angelic had a very nice idea, and it worked very much to her advantage, but i mean im still stuck with pledge as she had more content, more idea, more theme, more feeling to it you know...
