With each passing day;
As the years go rolling by...
Pages of my memory unfold,
Like a scroll across the sky...
Somtimes we did'nt see eye to eye;
On the decisions I hade made,
I know now,it was in my best interest;
The advice to me you gave...
I did not appreciate the sacrifices;
Whether large or whether small,
food, clothing ,and shelter I took,
Forgranted for you provided;all ...
Not until I left home;
Did I truly see,
Just how blessed I was to have,
A father who loved me...
And often now when my heart is heavy;
With memories of my thoughtless ways,
I know the lord brings them to my mind,
So that i'll be a better person,
For the rest of my days...
